These shields are designed to house temperature and humidity probes, protecting them from the heating effects of solar radiation and direct exposure to rain and snow. They reduce solar radiation errors for greater accuracy, are designed to deter wasps and bugs, and feature easily dismantlable double louvre stacks for cleaning. Made from durable, UV-stable plastic, they offer excellent measurement performance and are resistant to salt spray. No external power is required for their operation.

It also has a low-pass filter characteristic against high-frequency harmonics and offers transversal and longitudinal voltage protection.

Overvoltage Protection Module for 3 Datalines

This module is designed for nearly leakage current-free overvoltage protection of 3-data or signal lines and 2-wire bus networks. It includes coarse protection by a 20kA (8/20μs) heavy-duty GDT and fine protection by high-speed suppressor-diodes. It also offers a low-pass filter characteristic against high-frequency harmonics and provides both transversal and longitudinal voltage protection. The module is housed in a rigid and small polycarbonate casing for DIN-rail or direct mounting and has strong, corrosion-resistant universal screw terminals.

Data Logger Steel Cabinet

Ammonit offers robust, weatherproof steel data logger cabinets (e.g., C4 & C5 models) that are CE certified. These cabinets are designed for easy installation and maintenance, providing protection against weather, condensation damage, vandalism, and theft. Made from powder-coated sheet steel with an IP55 rating, they typically weigh around 12 kg and feature right-side door hinges with a polyurethane seal. They can accommodate optional components such as GSM/GPRS communication modules, barometric pressure sensors, batteries, and surge protection.
